Jude Lee

The bass guitar was never Jude’s main instrument when he first started playing music almost 17 years ago. Starting on guitar just like any young fledgling musician, he was introduced to the likes of Green Day, Rage Against the Machine and many other alternative music and formed his own band soon after.

In 2010 he was roped into local band West Grand Boulevard to fill in for another instrument he was never familiar with, the bass guitar and never looked back ever since. The band went on to record their first album, garnering the attention of Universal Music and was signed soon after.

He went on to perform with many other bands writing original music and collaborated with a few other solo artists as well. When he was invited to join Nothing to Declare, a Japanese rock band in 2011, it was soon thereafter he was endorsed his own bass by ESP Guitars from Japan.

Having established himself in the local music scene, he went on to join local post hardcore band Caracal in 2015 and toured with them in Japan, States and Philippines playing shows and festivals such as Summer Sonic 2015 which he considers a personal milestone for the band and himself.

Jude joined Thunder Rock School in 2014 and has been teaching bass and guitar ever since. His passion for music has not waned one bit although he does not currently play perform live. He continues to enjoy making music in his free time and loves discovering new music from any genre.
