Simon Yong
Simon Yong is a Singaporean guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer who has recorded 2 albums with progressive rock band Zero Sequence and a solo instrument album "Alien Stole My Whiskey" (2013).
He is a highly sought after musician in the tiny red dot and has also performed with international artistes such as American legendary drummer Dennis Chambers, Thailand's guitar hero Jack Thammarat, Taiwanese pop icon Sam Lee and Japanese metal band Babymetal guitarist Takayoshi Ohmura.

He has played killer guitar solos in front of an insane full-house crowd at Singapore Indoor Stadium opening for The Script (2013), National Day (2015) at the MBS Event Plaza, the Rugby Sevens half-time show (2016) at the Singapore Sports Hub (National Stadium), opening for The Iron Maidens (2015), SINGfest (2008) Fort Canning, Baybeats (2009) & (2013) at Esplanade, Ignite! Music Festival (2010) and Mosaic Music Festivals (2014) & (2017).
Simon currently plays with Reverie every Wednesday and Friday evening at Wala Wala.
He has also toured and performed in Malaysia, Australia, USA, France and Japan; and also appeared on radio and TV on several occasions. He was also one of the judges at the Singapore Polytechnic Crescendo 2007 singing competition final, a judge at the Singapore Drum Festival Drum-Off 2017 & 2018 Competition, a mentor for NAC's Noise Singapore Music Mentorship Program 2017. While he's not performing, he is committing himself to music education, masterclasses and workshops.
